We had a light lunch there, but everything I ordered were tasty. The salmon was cooked to a perfect medium, with a crispy exterior and moisture tender interior. The tuna nacho was a pleasant surprise - it has just a right amount of flavor with the help of the sauce which has a tangy flavor, probably mustard. The oyster plate contained a mix of oysters from different origins. I’m guessing this is the premium oyster plate they have? We’re so glad it was happy hour as each oyster was only two dollar. They were well labeled, showing that some of those are sourced from Canada and some US. I think the ones from Blish point Massachusetts tasted the best with it, well-balanced of sweetness and savoriness.

Went early on a Saturday for brunch. We had the Crab Cakes Benedict, Seaside Omelet and Gumbo. Great flavors, lots of crab and filled us up! I can't forget to compliment the wait staff. They were very attentive and kind. We will be back.

From the moment I stepped up to their vibrant stall, I was impressed by the array of fresh seafood on display and the impeccable service. I opted for the Poke Bowl and Crawfish Hush Puppies, and I must say, every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality. The poke was bursting with freshness—fresh tuna, crisp vegetables, and a perfect balance of flavors. The crawfish hush puppies were a delightful twist, crispy on the outside with a savory, tender filling that melted in the mouth. To complement the meal, I tried their special summer craft cocktail, the Watermelon Splash. Made with tequila, it was exactly what I needed on a warm day—refreshing, with a hint of sweetness from fresh watermelon. The ambiance at Rex’s Seafood was lively and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. I used to come here for lunch every week just for the soup. We did happy hour and took advantage of the 2 buck oysters. They were yummy. This place never disappoints..ou r server Dominic was very friendly and attentive. The calamari was good too, but we couldn't even finish it because we got full off the two bucks shuck. Hands down my go to for fresh seafood!

It's always really good. It can sometimes be difficult to find a seat around the bar area, but once you do, you're set. Oysters are always ice cold and fresh. We got the crawfish and they were so good with the right amount of kick.

The salmon burger and fries were great. The Connecticut lobster roll was great. We had the crawfish hushpuppies as an appetizer and it was great. I've only tried a few items but it was enough for me to come again and the staff working the front are really cool guys. It's in the Dallas farmers market. Update: second time here and had the 2 oysters at happy hour and the pound of crawfish for 11. Oysters were a treat but I probably will pass on the crawfish in the future. Crawfish is good, I just wasn't a fan. Overall, still a great place to stop into if you're in the area.

I ordered the sushi grade Ahi Tuna with spinach and mixed vegetables. I gotta say, for 20 this was well worth it!! The tuna was seared perfectly and the vegetables were seasoned really good too! I liked the spinach a lot, I personally think I might have had a bit too much lemon, but it was also topped with Parmesan, and made garlic too!

What a great spot for a beautiful lunch. I am not a huge seafood fan but this place might change that for me! My girlfriend and I decided to stop for a taste since the place looked friendly and clean. Very glad we did. We decided to get some oysters which were so fresh and also gator bites as an appetizer. The gator was cooked perfectly. The added lemon on the batter took it to another level. Nice and crispy. I decided to try the Lobster Roll New England Style(the best way) and my girlfriend got the fish and chips. The lobster roll was delectable. The roll was warm and fresh and the lobster salad was amazing. The fish and chips were so crispy and delicious. We definitely recommend all dishes. We definitely will be coming back!
